Hello, yesterday I did draw a little with my daughter and we got huge fragments while zooming or even drawing, the picture was flickering the entire time. I did update all software to the newest version afterwards, but the problem remains.

The Cintiq is connected via hdmi and usb to my macbook pro m1. It happens if I usw only the adapter or the onboard hdmi out. I haven't tested using usb c yet.

Just to try it out the same happend in Illustrator. I contacted the wacom support he advised me to try a programm outside the adobe group so I did download gimp and couldn't reproduce the same issue.

Only the drawing space is affected, menues remain untouched and are working. Plesae help its no pleasure to work like that.

I will try USB C today and edit the post if it solves the isuee.

Thakns for any advice!

Just Why does it get distorted when you see a box like that' Or does it actually affect the image?
What is your photoshop version?
I think you can try two thing for check problem.
1. Photoshop - Preferences - Technology Previews - Deactivate Native Canvas
2. Photoshop - Preferences - Performance - Turn off Use Graphics Processor
And Restart Photoshop.

If you use two methods and they are not effective, Adobe developer will need more information to help you.
Photoshop > Go to Help - System Info - copy paste to here.

I'm using Photoshop 23.5.1 and also the latest OSX version and Wacom drivers.

To irriterate the background actuallly is all the same gray color it just does this somehow. and those huge dark grey fragments just happen while drawing or changing the current area by moving or zooming. It is realy annoying.

I also tried USB C now and the issue still remains.

The same thing happens on my Windows 11 machine--a Microsoft Surface Laptop Studio. It's not consistent, but it happens most of the time. I

As I said, did that bug happen even if I deactivated native canvas? Or did you test only usb-c?
If my prediction is correct, I think it is a problem of navive canvas regardless of usb-c/hdmi/dp cable.
