Hi everyone,
I'm working on photoshop, windows and with a wacom cintiq for the past 10 years more or less.
I've recently bought a Cintiq Pro 32 (ok, a year ago, but been very busy :D) and I got this issue from day one.
Now that I have a bit more free time I was thinking maybe someone here can help me figure it out.
When I want to work in photoshop, as a concept artist I really need pen pressure to work. And for that, on the documentation of Wacom and Windows Ink, it's said that I need Windows Ink to be active.
When windows Ink is here, I cannot right click anymore to get the little classic windows menu like Copy, Paste, entering the layers options... but I can access to my brushes !
If I turn off Windows Ink, everything is working super fine except for the Pen Pressure, granting me with a nice /!\ icon in the Brush Settings next to Control > Pen Pressure of my Shape Dynamics.
I've screenshot every menus of my computer so maybe you can help me from here ?
Have a good day everyone.

Hi @wotofok Have you updated your Wacom drivers and added settings for the Pen specific to Photoshop in that panel? It looks like you still have generic All Apps in the Wacom panel.

Hello hello,
yes I've tried to add a specific setting for Photoshop but does'nt work.
The only way I've managed to have everything working - and it's now working since this morning - it's by placing a .txt file with
"# Use WinTab
UseSystemStylus 0" in it in my Adobe Photoshop settings folder.

the file must be saved as PSUserConfig.txt
it has to have this inside:
WinTabUseSystemStylus 0
# Use WinTab
UseSystemStylus 0
WarnRunningScripts 0
but that does work till just before update to 24.7

Mine just stopped to work just after update to 24.7

Honestly I do not update Photoshop anymore because it's gettting worst at each update recently so I'm not surprised. Maybe try to keep an older and stable version that fit your wacom and computer. I know it's not something super nice since we pay for updates and stuff but at least you can play/work on a stable thing.

Just done some testing on mine(Windows 10), my settings are pretty similar except the above , if I uncheck the setting maked I lose right click contextual menu in photoshop. Im only using a intuos tablet not a cintq display though. Thats with windows ink on, all my other settings seem similar to yours.(Of course it might be driver specific issue to the cintiq)
The only other thing I always disable is the touch keyboard and handwriting service in services, but that depends on your work flow, you might still want that. Windows updates have had the biggest improvement with the wacom functionality for me over the last 18 months or so.
