The title is probably familiar as many people have reported this problem before, but I now have a combination of two problems, so I decided to post here.
The first problem is the usual where Wacom stylus randomly loses pressure sensitivity. This was quickly fixed by turning off "enable press and hold for right-clicking". I also tried other methods and this was the only one that worked.
However now came the second problem: with the settings off, I have encountered severe freeze (for Photoshop only but not the whole somputer) whenever I do anything interface related with the stylus, including things like changing brush width, selecting eraser from brush, undo action etc. According to this link (Photoshop CS6 Interface Lag with Pen | TabletPCReview.com - Tablet PC Reviews, Discussion and News), the way to fix is to turn ON "enable press and hold for right-clicking", which actually worked for me.
Now I am stuck with a problem with either "enable press and hold for right-clicking" setting on or off.
I would be grateful if someone can give me a hand, thanks in advance.

I had similar random pressure sensitivity dropouts. The solution for me was to uninstall RGB Fusion App from Gigabyte. Apparently that app has some nastiness going on in its code, which caused the Wacom driver to constantly switch attention between the app and Photoshop. Uninstalling the app completely solved the issue. I guess, this same problem may be caused by other background processes too.

I haven't had any issues with my MobileStudio Pro or Cintiq Companion 2 in Illustrator or Photoshop.
Let me poke around Photoshop today or tomorrow to see if I notice anything. But so far I hav enot.
Are you running iOS or Windows?

Also... I see there is a driver update for Wacom devices. Did you already download it? I have not.

i just solved the problem of intermittently losing pressure sensitivity with my WACOM ONE. Here are some suggestions.
1. make sure you have the right driver for your device. Try reinstalling. (I heard that the latest driver has some bugs so I reinstalled an older version)
2. turn off "tip double click distance" in wacom tablet properties.
3. Finally, this is what ultimately solved my problem: check whether there are APPs running in the background that may interfere with your driver running speed. I always had a line-smoothening plug-in for photoshop called "lazynezumi". I turned the value to the lowest, and my problem was solved. (check with ctrl+alt+del).
