Does anyone know if there is a way to disable warning dialogs in Photoshop 2024? For example, it used to be possible to avoid future instances of particular warning dialogs in previous versions by selecting "Do not show again" or by turning them off within Photoshop's preferences. I'm not seeing anywhere that I can do that in PS 2024. I hope that I'm simply overlooking it.

Those that cxan be disabled will have a 'Don't show again' check box, which you will have seen before. However, some warnings can't be disabled because they are not a setting and there'd be no way of knowing why your operation hasn't worked. IMO warning dialogs are one of the worst aspects of having to reset Preferences, and a royal PITA, but it is what it is.

I keep getting the 'Don't show again' message repeatedly even though I choose this option. Not sure what I'm doing wrong. How can I turn this option off so that I'm able to delete a layer without it?

The final step is to attempt a preference reset if other methods fail. It is advisable to back up presets and actions to avoid losing them. The most effective way to reset preferences is manually, by dragging the preference file to the desktop. If this doesn't resolve the issue, drag it back to retain your preferences.

I have no idea what all that means but thanks anyway.
