When typing I get a round circle

As soon as i trying to type a text on a photo  a round circle woth a tick mark appears

Please show us a screenshot so we can see what you are seeing. Be sure to include:

  • Layers panel
  • Tools panel
  • options bar
  • workspace window so we can see the round circle and tick mark

 

I branched your post from a 9-year-old unrelated post so it will be better seen.
