Which version of Firefly is used in Photoshop version 25.6?

I'm using Photoshop version 25.6.0, as the company I work for won't let me update to version 26 yet due to security reasons. Am I therefore missing out on the latest Firefly version when using AI tools in Photoshop? Or is it always the latest Firefly that's being used, regardless of which Photoshop version you have, since all processing takes place in the cloud??

In Photoshop version 25.6, you’re not using the latest Firefly version. Firefly features are tied to specific Photoshop versions, and enhancements made to the Firefly AI tools are not backward compatible with older versions like 25.6.

If you’d like to access the latest Firefly improvements, I recommend upgrading to Photoshop version 26. You can keep both versions (25.6 and 26) installed on your machine simultaneously, allowing you to use the latest AI features while maintaining your current setup.

Alternatively, if updating isn’t an option right now, you could try using Photoshop on the web, as it doesn’t require any updates and will have the latest Firefly integrations.
