It's a bug in Photoshop, no idea why it hasn't been fixed. Use Export or Save For Web, they both embed correctly.

Hi

AFAIK Adobe does not support embedding ICC profiles in png files.

However it seems it CAN be done:

http://www.color.org/profile_embedding.xalter

If you search, you'll see there have been quite a few posts on these forums about this,

e.g.

https://community.adobe.com/t5/photoshop/saving-as-png-with-embedded-color-profile-problem/td-p/9731...

I hope this helps

if so, please "like" my reply and if you're OK now, please mark it as "correct", so that others who have similar issues can see the solution

thanks

Using Export strips all the Keywords....  this creates a problem.

Is Adobe intending to fix this problem?  Since sRGB is widely use for ecom it would just make sense that first, you can embed sRGB profile and keep all the metadata, which I understand is used for DAM programs.

Anyone from Adobe keeps an eye on this community forums?

Any ideas?
