Why does my foreground constantly change to black when I am sampling and painting ?

Why does my foreground constantly change to black when I am sampling and painting ?

I am not on the mask I am on the image? 

Everytime I sample and paint when I release the forground goes back to black

I tried resetting the tool.?

Its your Mac OS permissions.

Go to Mac System Preferences Security and Privacy/Full Disk Access. Add (and check) Photoshop.

Then go to Mac Sys Prefs/Accessibility and add Photoshop (and check) to the Screen Capture list.

Still doesnt work, Still reverting to foregroud/ background black (both)

Running Montery and Photoshop 23.5 on a MacBook Pro (15-inch, 2018), super annoying

Did you also add it to Screen Recording - sorry it used to be called Screen Capture?

Have you tried resetting your PS preferences?

You can reset easily by going to PS preferneces/general and clicking the reset upon quit button.
