Why does my hue cube/color wheel not change colors?

Whenever I change my selected color using something besides the hue cube/color wheel, such as the eyedropper tool, the color I'm drawing with will change, but the color selector on the cube/wheel will not move to reflect that color as it usually has in the past?

My computer just updated when this happened so I don't know if that somehow changed my settings or not. Any advice on how to fix this would be greatly appreciated. It's not impossible to work around, but it is very annoying.

@Daniel337180947qej if you're using Photoshop version 25.1, it's a well documented bug.
