Why photoshop lags a lot on my Windows PC

Hello, 

Since the purchase of my PC in 2019 I have always had problems of slowness only on Photoshop, Beginning of year 2023 I added 16g of ram believing that the lag will disappear but no change was noticed, 

I work mainly on photoshop these lag problems are ruining my work sections, I tried all the optimizations that can be found on the internet.

The main problems I have:

- Lags when I select fonts

- Freeze when creating a new file 

- Slow and freeze when I convert a layer to a dynamic object 

- Lags when I move a text

- Slow when I duplicate a simple layer 

+ But I never had a crash of the application 

Note: I only make designs for social media and Web (72dpi) my files usually do not exceed 500Mb, 

And I've tried all versions of photoshop since cc 2020

MOBO: ASUS PRIME X570-P ( with the latest version of the Bios ) 

RAM: 32GB 3200MHZ (4x8GB XPG D41)

GPU: RTX 2060 SUPER MSI GAMING X

HDD: SEAGATE 1TB

When text is in question, cycling through different fonts using mouse was never better in my opinion, there was always lag and slow motion move on my machines. Current config is Ryzen 5600G, 2060RTX, RAM 32 - 3600.  Other problems are not normal, have you tried with preference reset to fix problems?

Go to Preferences > Technology Previews... and enable “Older GPU mode (pre 2016)” - Restart Photoshop. Does the problem persist?

No change regarding slow motion when cycling through fonts using mouse scroll. I can not remember this option ever worked better on my machines. Cycling or scrolling through Layer blending modes, for example, responds much faster.

This new update is awful. It's incredibly slow and laggy for both PS and AI. I use both of them on the daily here at work and after this new update it freezes way too often..

This seems to be helping me a lot. Since going to Win 10 early last year and for the last handful of PS versions, I had crazy lag on adjustment layer sliders, for example. Setting this to off seems to have fixed it. I read it here from a W11 user and I consider it a killer tip.
