Why was move too stripped of other functions

I am using 23.5.3 and will update but  will this reinstate the versatility of the move tool?

Before,  when you used the move tool all it's ability were available by a right mouse click,   Skew, Scale, Warp, flip horizontally and vertically etc.

Now it only moves and if one wants more they have to open edit and choose which function they want.   This is more frustrating and time-consuming..  I see no reason that it improves anything,    Is this silly alteration going to be changed in new update?   Please

In the tool options for the Move Tool you can check Show Transform Controls, then you can click on a side handle and right click inside the transform box to get the transform options.
