Hello, I came accidentally to a page to deals with Stream Decks. I have some 3rd party plugins that I use almost for every image. Now I have to go to e.g. "filter", "Power Retouche" and "PR White Balance". Would I be able to just press one button instead on a Stream Deck? Would make my life easier...
Thanks for your time.

Hi @Theo23168202ug1u is this a Photoshop question?

I guess so, I hope people are actually working with PhotoShop and Stream Deck to save time. Since Adobe doesn't come up with shortcuts I can simply add to e.g. the toolbar, this might work if it's possible.

I think you'd get more traction on the Elagato/Stream Deck labs. You should be able to map just about anything using their software.

Well maybe, if somebody uses PhotoShop with it, for the same reasons I will. I just did a chat with a company selling icons and setups for e.g. PhotoShop (and other programs) and Streams Decks. It seems I would have to free short cuts and use them for the Plug-Ins. But then I wouldn't need the Stream Desk and I just could use the new short cut. Downside is that the short cut isn't working as intended anymore. I called today to sellers of the Stream Desks here in the Netherlands, but they haven't got a clue.
So I guess it's not what I thought it could be, knowing there are not that many short cuts available. Adobe needs to come up with more modern options.
Thanks for your help.

@Theo23168202ug1u you mean shortcuts for Third Party plugins that Adobe does not manage? If you have shortcuts (if they were working) from the plugin company, you could easily map them to your Stream Desk.

I got more info from Elgato. I didn't know how they would access the (in my case) filters. I thought they had something genius that lets me pick the specific filter. I understand that it has to come from hotkeys, but like I said, that means I need to "sacrifice" hotkeys for my filters and then I could easily use those instead of the Stream Deck. If Adobe would make it possible to add shortcut icons to the toolbar, it would be great for many people, I guess.

I bought the Stream Deck XL and I must say it's a handy piece of gear. I freed the F1-F12 shortcuts for my filters and can use everything else, if needed. Besides PhotoShop I can use it to speed up my workflow a little.
