(Windows 10) Photoshop v23.5.1 Tool lagging after latest update

Since latest update installed tools such as brush, clone stamp, crop tool, won't work after a new file is loaded into work space. If I wait for 5 minutes they start to work, then when I download a new picture they stop working again, Adobe support have taken remote control of my computer and attempted to repair fault, as soon as the system is shut down then re booted the same fault occurs. This has been going on since July now. Have carried out Uninstall and reinstall of all Adobe apps but still the same. Not sure what to do next, considering looking for P S alternative as this fault is seriously effecting my ability to complete my scheduled work. Can anyone suggest a remedy.  After my last Adobe support session I asked the assistant if it was a hardware problem with my operating system and he assured me it was a software fault and I should wait until a new version is released before updating.

Hi Phil, welcome to the Photoshop community. I'll need more information to help you with this.

Could you please share the system info of Photoshop from Help > System info > Copy & paste into a text document > paste here or upload to Creative Cloud files (https://assets.adobe.com/files) and share the link to the document here or with me?

I've checked your case records, and drivers for the GPU were updated in the troubleshooting process.

On Windows, the GPU info & Logs location is %APPDATA%\Adobe\CameraRaw. A shortcut to get to this folder on Windows is:

• Press the Windows + R or press the Windows key and type 'Run'
• Enter %APPDATA%\Adobe\CameraRaw
  
  
• Rename the GPU & Logs folder in this directory by adding .old at the end. (GPU.old & Logs.old)
• Restart Photoshop, and it should capture the updated driver & hardware capabilities.

Hi - I am having the same issue, upon applying stroke. Photoshop seems to work fine, until I go to apply a stroke. Photoshop freezes. I have re-installed, applied the GPU & Logs fix, and it is still not working. Tried a couple other community suggestions as well, still freezes. Anyone else having this issue? Help?

i am having this issue since last update. when i go to move pic to anotherd tab , i have to minimize photoshop then open to see if it moved, can someone help with this issue.
