With new update I am getting strange stuff when taking an image from ACR into PS.

When I try and bring an image into PS  from ACR I get a very weird image with multiple parts of the image and black areas (see attachment). If I make a copy of the background or remove the lock on the backgrround all clears up. I can't figure out what's causing it.

Hello, is it an M1 mac? can you double-check the version of ACR and PS? in "about Photoshop", and "about plugins"?
