Been just ignorning but it's not optimal. So hitting Open/Ctrl-O, navigate to a folder on machine, in the pop-up where normally "All Formats" are listed, I get the PSB large document file as a default, which hides most everything. But, when looking over the list of file types to filter out in the pop-up, I notice I can't select just the basic Photoshop (.psd) anymore. I only see all the legacy PS formats. See attached.
What could be affecting the explorer in Win 11 to not offer .psd? I can assign Photoshop to psd files in the default app but if open a folder with many items and just want to filter out all but plain old photoshop files (.psd), I can't do that?
There is actually a scrollbar, but because of the super long list of extensions for camera raw one has to collaspe the dialog to see it.

Hover your cursor within the file formats list and use the middle mouse wheel to scroll the list.

Hmm.. That didn't do anything. It doesn't even scroll the list for me. I have a basic bluetooth logitech and the scroll wheel does most of what I need but it didn't do anything while hovering over the list. Not sure how that would have 'added' a system option int that list?

The up/down arrow keys on your keyboard should work as well.

holy smokes! You caught the most basic issue I wasn't even seeing! Thanks.... it was also the open window.. though t was the width of my laptop, sometime previously, I had PS on my larger monitor and after I moved the window over, resized, then back to the laptop, I could see the scrollbar! haha... man, I'm embrassed to say how long I've been in Adobe products... lol thanks!
