I dl-ed most recent edition of PS. But am unable to open png files without converting to jpg. I get error messages saying the standard multiplugin.plugin is missing or broken. Same for enable Async IO plugin. In fact that message says I will damage my computer. Any ideas

Did you see this and download?

No idea what standard multiplugin.plugin may be, but multiplugin.plugin is mentioned there so maybe a download will fix this?

What is the exact version of Photoshop you are now running (like 26.7.8?)

Do you have a subscription, a free trial, or a permanent license?
