I'd love to see same approach in Photoshop   where we could anchor  a mask  to a group of other layers  or certain layer comp.  Thus having dynamicly updating mask .

I know  we could do it with clipping by groups  but it so complicated  so  I start to loose the idea  what clips what  and  often couldnt understand a thing in my own file just next morning.     So a mask  we could point to certain group bellow   or certain layer comp   would be much more easier to read .  Especially if it wouldn't require  to turn  intensity into  transparency.    Even better if such  anchor could read certain RGBA channel   of such group.
