Auto blend layers in CMYK doc

Please Adobe , make auto blend  work in CMYK documents too. It's a greatest photoshop feature.  I lack it so much when working in cmyk.

Why are you working in CMYK mode?

Because I need one extra channel at least.   RGB is not enough.

FWIW, you can add as many additional channels to an RGB document as you wish. 

You're using CMYK instead of RGB for an extra channel to do what?

Yeah, but those channels  are unrelated  to your layers stack.  So not that much useful really

Since you haven't explained what you're trying to accomplish, that statement make zero sense. That's probably why you will continue to get zero upvotes for a “feature request” here.
