After working with Content Credentials in PS 2025 for a while I have the follewing sugegstions to make it truly workable.
A number of features of the (Adobe or otherwise) Content Creation process seem to need improvement to produce a truly workable system.
- The present “select for each image” process is cumbersome and not conducive to inclusion in a PS action that is always run on opening a new image.
- PS and LR (and other software) need a Preferences parameter to set “always”, “ask” or “never” for the CC process. The current “click here” method is inadequate. If the process is to be required, then the installation default should be “always”.
- The CC condition needs to be permanent. That is, once turned on for an image, it remains on until deactivated.
- The CC panel also needs to retain previous settings (or set as preferences) and be permanently pinable to the workspace.
