I sometimes feel like I'm at cross purposes with Adobe approach. If I find something that works I stick with it. Not you guys, however. Fundamentally opposed to just leaving things alone. It offend you. So the application is in a constant state of flux, which is very irritating. I am sure that you see many fascinating and complex and highly evolved tasks, and sequences of events and innovative ways to use the software that never occur to the rest of us. You are fundamentally opposed to just leaving it alone so it just works, right? Especially when gimmicky digital tools have these incredibly short lifespan. In the software world you can go from the next big thing to this sucks in two weeks. What is the issue with persisting .pat files? Dude, they are so useful. They can be used in so many ways and then give me enormous control and they also are highly flexible and you can create a really good look and save it for future use. Why do you have to come through like some malevolent afterhour digital janitor sweeping my .pat files away for no reason? and not even mentioning it to me that you are going to be doing it, which means at least a couple of times I blamed myself for not being able to find them and searched and searched SMH.
