When I close a Photoshop document, all I want to see my is my desktop. The ever present Home Screen really gets in the way of a productive workflow. Are there any plans to allow users the option of eliminating the Home Screen? Please work this option into preferences in the future.

It's already there in prefs and the Window menu for the application frame:

Thank you so much! Un-checking 'Application Frame' in the Window pull down menu finally did the trick. Un checking 'Auto Show The Home Screen' alone did not solve the issue previously. I had called and tweeted Adobe support 5 or 6 times and was told the option was unavailable!

Do you by any chance have a fix for the same issue in After Effects? In AE, I have un-checked 'Enable Home Screen' but do not see the 'Application Frame' option in the 'Window' pull down menu. Many thanks, you solved the issue for me in PS!
