Implemented in Photoshop 21.0 or later. Right-click on document tab and select option for "Close Others"

This could be scripted (and that Script used for example via Keyboard Shortcut or from a Configurator Panel).
Probably would be best to make two versions – on that saves changes in the other files and one that won’t.

Sure, this can be scripted, however I think it would be a nice (and logical) addition to the tab context menu. There should be a menu point „Close other tabs“ just like in many browsers and text editors. It would just make sense.
