P: New smallest swatch size is too large, offer smaller size

After Photoshop CC 2015.1 update the size of swatches are super huge and fills a large portion of the screen (while viewing all of them...which i do) at the minimum size.
Is this intentional?
Is there a way to get smaller, manageable swatch sizes again?

This issue should be fixed with the Photoshop CC 2018 (19.1.2) update which is now available.
Please install the update and let us know if you still see this issue.

To update, click Update next to Photoshop CC in the Creative Cloud desktop application.
If you don't see the update right away, click the 3 dots in the upper right and choose Check for App Updates.

Regards
Pete

The large size is needed for some tablet devices, where you can't see or hit small swatches easily.  But adding a "smallest" or "tiny" size is possible.

I can't give time frames.  But this is on my list, and will happen.

Yes Chris that would be a wonderful solution, for both legacy and retina resolution. So a "Tiny " option will still best to have.

The new minimum swatch size is a serious problem for me as well since my monitor is only 1920x1080. Please change the current sizes to "medium" and "large" and add the old minimum back as "small."

edit: I see Chris Cox said this would be addressed. Thank you! Please add me as one more person voting for a priority fix.

I just updated Photoshop and these new Color Swatch sizes are horrible. Please offer a smaller size. Please.
Eyes are trained to scan left to right. Now I have to look all over for colors because they aren't lined up correctly, plus its interfering with my pallet -_- A huge interference with my art process.

Please update.

It's not the only cartoon feature in this release, do Adobe receive customer feedback  from a creche?

So It's been 3 months and I think 3 updates to address this issue!  Come ON ADOBE... we are just asking for you to bring something back that has been STANDARD on every other CC release... when is it going to happen?

Another vote for the smaller swatch palette!   I have a 30 inch monitor set at 2560 x 1600, and the swatches really do take up too much real estate on my display.  It seems counter-intuitive for Adobe (I love Adobe, don't get me wrong) to put so much energy into minimizability of the interface, and then drop tis big swatch palette on us.  Maybe add a third option of mini swatches alongside the large and small?

Same for me. Swatches size is way too big now. Please go back! There is absolutely no need for making them larger. What was the reason they changed it at all?

It's been months, did adobe acknowledge this issue yet? Aren't user front end problems should be higher priority than rare bug fixes? I mean it's there, in-our-face...

It's a small thing to fix... I feel like they're holding out thinking we'll get used to it. But I'm working at QHD+ resolution and they're still too big. Please, Adobe. It's time to fix this. It's a daily annoyance.

I'm following this thread waiting for some good news... nothing yet?
I'll keep waiting for that thing that I use everyday and actually it's almost a problem:
again: the color swatches smallest size is a giant feet inside my screen!
Please, fix it ASAP!
Thx

It's odd to see a thread this long about this O_O I haven't had an issue at all with this even with a new install of Photoshop just last weekend, up until an update yesterday morning and suddenly BAM, giant swatches.
I'm not sure how I'd avoided this problem up until now but it's really frustrating (made even more so that it's only like that currently on one out of the 3 computers I'm running PS on)

So I guess I was just lucky that for some reason the initial install of PS on a new computer was CC 2015 and not CC 2015.1?
(Which I've since rolled back to for a number of other frustrating reasons)

the new larger size for the smallest swatch setting is ruining my life.  a little dramatic lol but why would you make them so big they take up half my display now!

Would love to see this update made - the new "small" being made a "medium" setting, and with the old swatch size as the new "small". Causing some maddening problems with screen layout and work habits.
