This is a common interface option with many creative tool apps.

Should be an option right beside scroll wheel to zoom!

I second this. It's available in Illustrator and After Effects, but not in Photoshop for some reason. Frankly speaking, Adobe's suite is the most inconsistent suite I've ever used. It's as if their developers don't communicate with each other. Their apps don't even share the same design code. Shame on you, Adobe.

The inconsistency is so annoying and kept me from wanting to use InDesign for ages because of how dissimilar it was to PS and AI.
