Is this issue going to be resolved ever? I've had this problem for years and seems other users have had it too. I constantly catch my brush opacity slipping to 99% while resizing the brush. Adobe seems to come up with countless new gimmicks aimed at the casual user and this simple problem remains( to my knowledge) unresolved.
Already happened twice this morning. Loving it!
This is terrible and can't understand how it can't be fixed. Disabling features shouldn't be terrible hard. I spend an hour to fix the marks left by "99% Eraser" on last book cover I made.
I spent half a day with support trying to find a way to officially flag this problem. All I get, apart from useless suggestions for workarounds, is a link to a "request form", which leads me to this forum, where this issue has been raised 5 years ago.
The only reason I haven't switched to another software is that I have been working professionally with Photoshop for over 15 years and I am dependent on this workflow for speed and efficiency.
Adobe, however are making this move to another program easier with each new version, as they keep adding pointless new features, which slow me down until I get used to them.
There goes my morning rant, falling on deaf years again.
The more we rant, the more it will get possible that someone would notice it 🙂 At least I hope. This would be so easy to fix.
Registered here just to bring awareness to this problem. I have ranted about it with every other illustrator I know. Please, can someone at Adobe work on this already?
We're just asking for a simple CHECKBOX for god's sake.
Disabling features should be very easy task. I have actually started to think if I could write a plugin for this 😄 I don't have slightest knowledge about PS plugins, but have done some coding in other contexts... Usually you get simple thing done if they are doable in general. It just takes a huge amount of time and googling.
Is anyone listening? I've been dealing with this problem for maybe a decade
I hope there is. As this would be very easy to fix.
*leozon I can not understand why it is still not taken care of. After that much time. It's been going on for years now.
Lets send some Positive Vibes to Adobe so they will fix this soon ❤️ ❤️
Hi, A good thing is posting about the feature request in a forum or social network where you would explain the issue and invite others to vote...
I think I have posted this to some Finnish Facebook groups... Maybe time for repost 🙂
So I'm starting a new book cover and I already know this will cause problems and I have to clean up my drawings afterwards... Can we have FIX for this? Adobe? It is not hard. Just add option "Vary Opacity based on HUD vertical movemen" there. Should be very simple and easy to implement.
Somehow I thought that's what feedback.photoshop.com is for ^o^
