Hi Photoshop Team,
I have a feature suggestion that could improve the Quick Mask experience. Currently, when using Quick Mask mode and brushing a large circle or shape, it only paints the mask along the brush stroke — it doesn’t auto-fill the inside of the shape like the Remove Tool does.
It would be incredibly useful if Photoshop could recognize a closed brush stroke (like a circle) in Quick Mask mode and automatically fill the enclosed area, similar to how the Remove Tool or Lasso Tool with Content-Aware Fill works. This would speed up masking workflows, especially when selecting large or simple shapes.
Optional behavior could be:
If the stroke closes, Photoshop detects it as a shape and fills the inside.
Maybe a modifier key (like Shift or Ctrl) could trigger the fill behavior after completing a closed stroke.
Thanks for considering this! It would be a powerful addition to the already great masking tools.
