Considering that a wide range of Persian-speaking graphic designers around the world rely on Adobe Photoshop as a fundamental tool—and the number of users continues to grow—there remains a major issue: Persian text rendering.
In the Middle Eastern version of Photoshop, Arabic is the default supported language, and Persian is only partially accommodated under those same settings. While the two languages share visual similarities, they are structurally different in key ways. This leads to issues in proper character display, text direction, kerning, and overall typography in Persian.
We respectfully propose the creation of an independent Persian language engine within Photoshop, separate from the Arabic language support. This would greatly enhance the usability of the software for Persian speakers and allow for more accurate and professional-level Persian typography.
Thank you for considering this request to improve the experience of a significant and growing community of Adobe users.
