Or maybe just a few simple ones like height map to normal filter , and normal to curvatures. Working as a adjustment layers, i.e updating on the fly rather than smart objects filters where you have to save first.
Once I tried "live filters" in Afinity Photo I can't go back to Photoshop any more. They are so convenient and so much more flexible.
Pairing such "live filters" with ability to do your own in Substance Designer woud be super helpful.
I hate Sampler, it's so clunky and inconvenient , Photoshop could be a perfect replacement with such addition.
