Scaling Strokes and Effects in Photoshop

Why on earth is there STILL not an option to automatically scale strokes and effects in Photoshop like there is in Illustrator? This is 2025 and has to be one of the easiest thing Adobe could possibly implement. As somone who usually has to make 10+ sizes of most graphics, it quite literally drives me crazy to go in and "guess" what the right manual effect scaling could be for every single size. Every rounded corner gets ruined... every stroke... every drop shadow... ALL OF IT.

Please Adobe, I'm begging you to fix this.

(On a similar note: Please also add a better resize option like Canva has. Or at least a function that lets you rescale an entire artboard with the art proportionately. It's nearly impossible to make a 1080x1080 square into a 2000x2000 square with all of the artwork in the exact same place if I choose to change the size after the fact.)

In what context is the resize? It's there under Image > Image Size for the entire document. It only works for proportional scaling though. My gripe is that years ago this was moved from the main interface and "hidden" under the gear/cog icon on the upper-right of the interface.

I'm referring to when there are multiple artboards and I want to resize one of them and have the artwork resize with it. For example, I might have a bunch of different artboard sizes of a specific graphic and I want to scale down a 1920x1080 artboard to make a smaller version for mobile (ex. 960x540). There is not (to my knowledge at least) a simple way to do this besides manually copy/pasting the artboard and changing the dimensions and rescaling the art myself. But then the graphics are almost never identicle in terms of exact placement. Sometimes I'll just export 2 versions of the same size if the smaller size I need is exactly the same ratio, then manually change the dimensions locally... but that can be a hassle in itself. It would just be nice to have some sort of "smart" resize tool like Canva has for people who have to make 15+ sizes of one graphic.

Many refinements could be made to artboards.

I created a couple of scripts for resizing an active artboard and its contents.

@Lexi309414846zht , this (scaling layer styles) is a great request; I've created a ticket for the team to look at; can't make promises about it getting done, but the first step is at least done.
