Show HEX code by hovering the cursor

Hey what's up,

is it possible to let photoshop automatically show you the HEX code of the pixel you are currently hovering above? I am doing a task where I have to know every single HEX code for every pixel/area and it takes quite a bit always having to use the eyedropper tool and reading out the code from the color wheel, so it would be way more convenient to get that information just by hovering your cursor above the pixel

Thank you in advance

Go to Window>Info and set one of the Readouts to Web Color

Then when you move your cursor over/around the image you can see the Hex values under the Web Color readout change in real time.

Hi @peepoqt I'll move your post to the Ideas forum where users can upvote this request as there is no way to currently do this behavior in PS, but I could see it being useful with the eyedropper tool.

@Jeff Arola how would you get live feedback from the tool just by hovering?
