Would be great if there was a way to keep a liquify saved state within a smart object locked onto the pixels it has been applied.
For example- if you have an image that is 5000x3000 px and on a flat layer with a smart object and liquify moves. If you go into this file and change the size to now be 8000x3000px (or extend via a crop) the data within the smart object gets confused and you lose the position/coordinates of the liquify moves. It would be great for photoshop to read the image, what was moved on those pixels and keep that calculation regardless of the crop/scale of the image.
