360 image issues when creating a new panorama layer

I am having an issue where the equirectangular 360 images will upload just fine into Photoshop, but when I click to create a new panorama layer from selected layers to view in 360, my view is just blank/white or sometimes it will look fine at first glance but as soon as I try to tour the 360 image, it creates 9 "boxes" for lack of a better term with each box having a zoomed-in image of the space. I have uninstalled and reinstalled photoshop and tried using jpeg and dng equirectangular files and neither is working.

I want to point out that I was taking 360 images last week using the same process and I had no issues when creating a new panorama layer and viewing 360 in photoshop.

This is the other error with the separate boxes I mentioned in my post.
