adobe moving very sluggish

My photoshop 2020 is lagging and incredibly sluggish.  Using the bars to move side to side and up and down is very slow and with the alt key to move in and out very slow.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Does this affect all images or only some? 

What have you done for trouble-shooting and about performance so far?
