Close photoshop JSX script

I want to close photshop, already tested app.quit(); but not working, i dont find any information on the web to close photoshop (not document).

Hi,

quit() does not exists for Photoshop.

Try following

executeAction(app.charIDToTypeID('quit'), undefined, DialogModes.NO);

I heard it does not work for everyone, maybe on Mac? Anyway it's DOM equivalant of AM 'quit' and it's initiated during launching Photoshop from:

'C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\Startup Scripts CC\Adobe Photoshop\photoshop.jsx'

I tried on mac. And it works. Not sure about Windows. Will give it a try on Windows as well.

On Windows it works, but not for users who deleted StartupScriptsCC folder for some reason.

If you want to avoid saving preferences use:
