colour toool is not working proper

Hi every one  im facing problm  with colour tool evry time i try to change colour  green blue yelow or any colour its just changed with grey  white and black have no issue butt  with others colour  responce  in grey i ill be very thank full if some one help me to solve this problm

Your very long sentence is difficult to read , but if I've picked up your issue correctly, check Image > Image Mode and, if not already, set it to RGB.

thanxxx  Alott  sir i ts work   by mistak i slected file mode RGB to greyscale now i have done  thankxx once again for your kind help
