Community changes are coming. Here’s what you need to know:
In a few days, you’ll notice the Photoshop and Lightroom communities change to include “ecosystem” in their titles. As Photoshop and Lightroom have evolved into multi-app ecosystems, separate community spaces for each app have lost their value, reduced visibility, limited scalability, and confused our customers who need help at an ecosystem level.
To this end, the changes you will see on Monday 7/19 after 3:00 am (PST time) are:
Photoshop ecosystem: The Photoshop & Photoshop Mobile communities will consolidate into a new community called, “Photoshop ecosystem”.
Lightroom ecosystem (Cloud-based): The Lightroom & Lightroom Mobile & Apple TV communities will consolidate into a new community called, “Lightroom ecosystem (Cloud-based)”.
In addition, the conversation tags will be based on a platform instead of a feature; you can expect to see posts include labels such as macOS, Windows, iOS, etc. Label selections will be limited to two per post in an effort to focus on customer issue categorizations. When threads that were initiated before the merge are edited, they will lose their existing labels, so be sure to retag them as appropriate.
These changes should allow for faster thread responses from the community teams and quick fixes from the product teams. Thank you for your ongoing support!
