Custom Shape Presets

On my Photoshop app I only have a limited selection of custom shape presets in the drop-down menu. Even when I click on the gear icon I do not get all of the categories to choose from. I only have boats, trees, animals and flowers. Is there something I have to download to get more presets or is this a glitch with my app?

Two things to check:

  • Which version of Photoshop are you using? The old shapes became "Legacy" in Photoshop 2019.
  • Are you opening the new Shapes panel from your Window menu? Look in the panel menu (four lines).

Hi Jay,

What do you see when you use the panel menu in the upper right?

I am using Photoshop 2021. This advice was very helpful, but is there a way to view these all at once? The tutorial shows an "all" option and that would be helpful for me, but it does not appear to be available. Is there a way for me to ge this?
