Experiencing a glitch with 3D text layers.

Hi everyone!

I'm currently working on something in PS. I would like to turn my text into a 3D layer. I can do this with no problem but after the layer is transformed I'm unable to actually make any edits. The black square in the photo stays that way no matter how long I wait. Making changes to extrusion depth, shape preset, etc. also has no effect.

I've reset my PS preferences to default a couple of times, made sure PS is using my Graphics Processor.

I'm using a brand new 2020 Macbook Pro with the M1 chip.
