I have tried to bring in the layers to create the animation, but all but the first one shows up blank. Even if i try to add it in manually, none of them show. . .

Hey! I was having the same exact problem and we may have different issues but I found that going through my layers and clicking "clear layer style" on each one made them show up as frames on my timeline finally! I had 150 layers so I turned "clear layer style" into a shortcut lol lol! But it worked!!

Clearing the layer style fixed it for me, only 50 layers by hand... why are these tools broken?
