Getting Error "Could not Complete Your request because of program error"

Getting this error when trying to open any of my PSD files. see below versions

PS version = 22.4.2

OS version - macOS Big Sur Version 11.2.3

running on a macbook pro 15-inch mid 2018

I need to edit a file urgently
