Help!! Everything is crashing

For the past few weeks everytime I use bridge or photoshop it crashed. Its not anything in paticular that makes it crash sometimes it will let me use it for an hour before crashing but a lot of the time it does it as soon as I open an aplication and load a picture. I have unistaled and reinstalled still the same issue. I can't get any work done at all and I am so fustrated please any help would be appreciated.

Also my computed is only a year old all upto date and has loads of memory left on it

Does turning off »Use Graphics Processor« in the Performance Preferences (Photoshop > Preferences > Performance > Graphic Processor Settings) and restarting Photoshop have any bearing on the issue? 

Did you use the Cleaner Tool before re-installing?

What have you done for all-purpose trouble-shooting so far? 

Restoring Preferences after making sure all customized presets like Actions, Patterns, Brushes etc. have been saved might be a good starting point:
