How do you fix a Photo of coin that shows all text reversed

I took a photo of a coin, but the image shows the text as a mirrored image which leaves the text backwards.  You cannot do a flip horizontal to fix this.  How do you fix this, or is it not possible?  Seems like there should be a way...

You took an actual photograph of an actual coin? 

Did you hold the coin and photograph its reflection in a mirror?

That's about the only way I can think of that an image of a genuine coin would have the text reversed.
