I'm doing a project where I take the same photo of a construction site every week. I aligned the first 10 images (from 10 weeks of work) using auto-align, and it works very well.
The way I do this is, start a new Photoshop project, File-Scripts-Load Files Into Stack, select the 10 photos, click 'auto-align source images' box, I create a frame timeline, one second per frame, it looks really good because the images are aligned to each other. I save the photoshop file.
Next week, I add another image (by dragging and dropping the image), and try to align it to the prevoius 10, but it doesn't work: it's as if Photoshop is ignoring the 11th image, it doesn't adjust it at all to fit. Any ideas? Thanks

Are you using a fixed position security camera images. Why would image taken so far apart in time align. Did you perhaps trim/crop the first 10 image stack after after they were auto aligned. If so not drag in number 11. Stack the 11 images load layer into a stack auto align option.

Hi JJMack, these are not security camera images. Yes I did trim and crop the first 10 images after they were auto-aligned. I suppose this is the problem (trim/crop)? So each time I add a new image, I have to load all 11 again?
