I didn't like version 22.4.4... I found it slower, with a lot of errors, the screen resolution was bad, even with 50% of the image size... I don't know if my computer needs to improve. So I went back to version 22.4.3.
You can roll back a few versions using Creative Cloud. Click on the .... in CC next to Photoshop, select "Other Version".
Other than that, no one here can further help you with a newer version as this is a user to user forum and Adobe rarely pays attention to such a report.
