I read that you know have to use a SAVE AS COPY for jpgs in an online article, because I had to revert back to the previous version of Photoshop the same day the upgrade was automatically made. Photoshop would just close on any file I opened, regardless of what kind of file it was. At first, I was trying to open a PDF in photoshop so I could extract the image at its full resolution.... something I have done hundreds of times. But Photoshop just closed. At first, I thought it was that particular PDF file. But the same thing happened with every file format I opened, including PSD files. I saw one MAC user have a similar problem.
