I am still using Photoshop 7 ,( on occassions), and still have lots of images on my PC, which print as usual on my Epson.....  However I have tried to day to make a new image, and the selection on the plalette shows only gey & white..  For some recent printing i have used the selction on the Epaso as greyscale. but have moved it back to colour- and its seems to have done that. Could the change on the printer influence the Photoshop 7, options? and how do i get back the colours on the Photshop. (I am now quite old so not  up to date in technology, please explain simply....

Thank you for any advice.

Where is the Channels Panel?

Maybe you inadvertently selected just one Channel.

I do not understand what the problem is, what are you talking about when you say »the selection on the plalette shows only gey & white« and where is that visible in the screenshot?

sorry, I sent the old layout that I had with a completed image. This is what i get now, when I open to construct a new image on file= you will see the colour options are grey in the palette bars -even though i have selected a colour to start with.
