I tried to compress in save for web option in photoshop. But it doesn't let me to lower the file size so much.
What else can I do?

the dimensions are 2250x2732 px. Does the content of the image have influence on this kind of issue? Thanks for the reply

Yes, image content does indeed influence jpg file size.
Images with lots of sharp, busy detail (or noise) do not compress well, and will have a large file size.
Images with large flat, or smooth, or out of focus areas do compress well, and will have a small file size.
The difference in file size can be quite dramatic.

Yes, I have an image full ov little flowers)) so it's heavy) and yes it was the main criteria that the image has this size, it is for a mobile game background.
Thank you very much for a detailed explanation.

I meant that the client wanted to have 2250x2732 px but so the jpg size is lower than 300 KB, but the compression did not let me to reduce it so much. Anyway, thanks for the answer

Yes, the content of the image has a huge impact. Some images can hardly be compressed at all, some can be compressed almost to nothing. It is not helpful to demand a standard size.
This is a very small file for a 6MP file. Are you sure they want this actual size in pixels? Or are you just reluctant to reduce the pixel count?
