My .eps file is not readable by my printer

I have converted a .png file to a .eps in Photoshop.  However, when sending it to be used in a print article the company is unable to open/ identify the file in the email.   I tried compressing the image into a zip drive and the same issue happened, they were unable to identify and or open the file.   I am not sure if I am saving it without an important element or what but mt deadline is approaching and I am stuck!   TIA

Save as a TIFF; it's a far more universal format that almost anyone can open/print.

Hi

Does it work if you print the original png before you converted it to the archaic eps format?

I haven't tried to print the .png file.   Does it matter the kind of printer?
