My update pretty much DELETED Photoshop

I have CS6 and I treied getting help but after the lady sent me three ARTICLES she sent me here.. Are you joking? No attempt to help or figure out a solution. I updated to Catalina and now Photoshop just wont open. This is my livilihood i use Photoshop for work every day and now it just a big white circles with a line through it over the app icon. I dont know what to do im aou tto have a mental breakdown.

CS6 installer will not run in Catalina for one. You can upgrade to the current version of Photoshop CC (subscription) or move to an older version of your Mac OS and continue to run CS6. What you cannot do is even install CS6 under Catalina.
