I have a 2019 MacBook Pro running on macOS Big Sur. I'm using Photoshop 2021 22.4.1. Everything on my computer is up to date.
Whenever I use a tool that requires a brush of some sort (brush, healign brush, clone stamp etc), Photoshop becomes unresponsive. My computer's fan goes into hyper mode and the circle loading cruser appears. Photoshop remains unresponsive for anywhere between 10-15 min before finally crashing. I'm propted with an error message, which I have attached to this post as a pdf. How do I fix this problem? I have uninstalled, installed, restarted, cleaned, all the bs crap you're supposed to do and nothign helps.

Hi, sorry about that
I don’t have a solution, but maybe if you try to reset the preferences will work, here the instructions:
https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/preferences.html
Another option: install a previous version of Photoshop
Go to the creative cloud app and click on the 3 dots next to Photoshop app to see more options and select other versions
you can install a previous version of Photoshop and maybe that will work, sometimes there are bugs and you have to update the system
Last one:
You may try the Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool(https://helpx.adobe.com/in/creative-cloud/kb/cc-cleaner-tool-installation-problems.html) to remove the existing app installation & reinstall once done.
Let me know if that works
Regards
